Once you’ve booked – simply contact us to arrange a time that suits us all.
Give us something to work with – we’ll begin with what suits you – and work towards it.
This 2 hour pottery class is built around the same format as a Taster Class. The pottery wheel can be the centre for this 2 hour pottery experience, and you are also welcome to have a go at some handbuilding techniques with clay. Whatever unfolds, we will guide you along the way and you’ll be guaranteed an amazing couple of hours of fun.
There will be a tangible outcome – a few beautiful worthwhile pots – at the same time you will have the opportunity to get comfortable with clay and the pottery wheel and learn a few pottery techniques. Whether you’ve never tried the pottery wheel before or you would just like to re-connect with the clay, you will slip into this 2 hour session and enjoy the experience.
All participants create satisfying work in this short session, if you decide to keep your finished beauties -they will be ready to collect within 4 – 6 weeks, ( but probably sooner).
Cost – $350 for 2 people

Glazing and Firing
- Eternity and/or Eco options
The Eternity option – additional $15
Decide at the end of your class: to keep or not to keep.
For an additional $15 you can choose 2 ( + each additional piece is $5) of your selected pieces for StudioMade’s professional team to bisque fire -glaze ( our own house batch stoneware white )- and fire again to stoneware temperature in the studio kiln. They will survive *eternity – and be ready for you to return and collect in 3 or 4 weeks ( storage capacity is such that we can only hold for 6 weeks max – so into eternity they will not go whole). Payment is due at the end of class.
The Eco Option – Free
We are just as pleased for you to choose the ‘eco’ option – simply to have enjoyed your experience. Your pieces will stay with you in your minds eye and we will recycle then upcycle your used clay back into the clay buckets to be processed via our in-studio pugmill – for more clay experiences to be had by others ahead.
