All products at StudioMade are individually made by hand in our  Geelong studio, Australia.

Our glazes are house batch recipes – crafted by Darren – and made to fit to the clay body as intended.

The colours in the images are very close to ‘actual’ – however due to the vagaries of digital technology, the colours you see on your screen may be slightly different – please take this into consideration when purchasing.  We honestly are doing our best to represent all of our works as is humanly possible on this digital platform.  In an ideal world we would love you to come visit us at our bricks and mortar store – to touch and feel – to truly get a sense of our gorgeous range of hand made ceramics and the variations of the glazes within the glazes.

All our ceramics are made using Australian, non-toxic, food-safe clays and our own house - batch  glazes. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) and never ever place any of our ceramics directly onto or into a heated oven surface – as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.

Although  dishwasher safe we recommend you take the time to hand wash your precious pieces.  Consider it part of the get-slow and enjoy the moment movement – any excuse to prolong your engagement with your hand crafted ceramics.

If this piece is not in stock we can make it to order for you in our StudioMade studio.

Turnaround time is up to 6 weeks…hopefully you’ll find what your looking for right here – however you can select from our swatch of house batch glazes.  Please note – if you are considering ordering from the swatch list –  take into account that no two items can ever be the same – glazes have a tendency to represent quite differently from piece to piece and from kiln firing to kiln firing.   That is the true beauty of the hand made – not mass produced / popped out of a mold 100 times repeat repeat…each individual piece is uniquely hand crafted by human touch – variations in size, colour and embellishments ( not faults) are inherent in our work.

So back-order if you dare…
